How UV Printing Works

Unlike traditional solvent printers where ink must dry by evaporating into the air, UV printers use special inks that remain liquid until they are exposed to an intense ultraviolet (UV) light on the printhead. The UV light instantly cures (solidifies) the ink onto the material.
